Pins show approximate campus areas, not the location of individual birds.

A little attention goes a long way. Step outside. Pause for a moment. See how many of these voices you recognize.

A NOTE FROM PLUMAGE

A campus worth
listening to.

Haikubox stations listen for bird calls and use automatic identification to suggest the species they hear. This map brings a selection of those recordings together.

What’s connected?
Swann Song, Haiku Couch Park, GT MoSE Glade, and Haikubox IBB each have a verified public feed. Choose any station to explore its recent birds and recordings.
What does a pin mean?
A general listening area, not an exact device or bird location. Campus-area positions need confirmation from station owners.
How recent is “recent”?
Haikubox supplies up to five recent detections per species over the last 24 hours. This is a sample, not a count of birds. We check for updates every five minutes while this page is visible.
Can identifications be wrong?
Yes. These are automatic suggestions, not confirmed sightings. Photos illustrate the species; they were not taken by the listening stations.
